A Vision for Stittsville
Kevin Hua is running to make sure our community's growth is matched by transit, neighbourhood planning, and road safety investments that residents deserve.
Raised right here in Stittsville, Kevin Hua is eager to give back to the community that has provided him with so much and to give those who follow him the same opportunities. Guided by the strong values and principles he developed while growing up here, he wants to bring his passion, unique perspective, and bold ideas to City Council.
Kevin has the experience and insights needed to represent Stittsville and fight for our community's interests at City Hall. He has been involved in the community helping to establish and run the local 2SLGBTQIA+ organization, West Side Pride, which provides advocacy, representation, and community through programming like its annual West Side Pride festival.
Kevin has set out a vision for Stittsville and the most pressing challenges and issues the community faces as it continues to grow. Improving transit reliability and coverage in Stittsville with a bus station, managing growth along Hazeldean Road with a Community Design Plan, and making our roads safer with a Vision Zero Action Plan to end road fatalities and serious injuries.
